This Spinning World Keeps Turning

I am horrified and saddened over the atrocious act that occurred at Virginia Tech. This has greatly saddened me. Luckily, the two people I know there are fine. I am taking a Day of Silence to observe the tragedy that has occured.

I guess it says much, when as someone on the ATWT message board said today, when the most we have to look forward to about our soap opera is a new intro.

UGH!

I'm through with these lame storylines. I want this show to revamp itself and get back to the basics- good storytelling, with a good balance of the characters I like, and great drama. That said, I want to see the new intro that launches April 16th.

I realized that since this show decided to kill Jennifer off, I have been watching it less and less. Even though, Jen was a storyline hog, she really drove this show and was truly one of the better characters. I miss her, and rooting for her character against all the odds stacked against her.

I am liking the new Emily/Dusty/Alison storyline. The theme is foul (porno/hooking) but the drama is great and intense. I want to see were this heads...

And that's my random thoughts about ATWT. I am planning on balancing my blog with thoughts about ATWT, AMC, and DAYs- as well as keep anyone that is interested updated on the random events taking place in my life.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter! Have a safe and fun holiday everyone! :)

This spring break vacation has been a good one. Even though I had to work, I managed to secure several days off during the week so I could enjoy myself. Last night I went to San Francisco with my friends. Having turned 21, it was my first time ever going to the night-clubs in the city. It was one of the best nights of my entire life, and I had a total blast. We hit up some really awesome nightclubs in the Castro district, which were totally awesome. I have tons of pictures from last night that I'll get up.

I have tons of pictures from last night. I will get a couple up for everyone to check out. I am supposed to start planning my summer vacation today with a couple friends. We are going to Honolulu, Hawaii. Gwen Stefani is on tour this summer- she's performing in Honolulu in late July, so we're trying to schedule our trip around the same date so we can go to her concert.

What are everyone's plans for the rest of the week? I have to work, finish up a school project, and then I am having a fun Easter weekend with my family. Looking forward to some quality time with my parents and brothers.

My InTurn application update: So me and my friend Gina are practicing the script. It's kind of a cheesy/dramatic script, so we're trying to rehearse the lines and get really into the script so on camera we'll have that natural chemistry ;). Which shouldn't be to hard, I don't think.

I'm looking forward to As the World Turns new intro appearing. As it was talked about on the message boards, I am excited to see new pictures of my favorite characters glaring, smiling, and snarling at the camera! Lol. :)

I'm tossing around the idea of submitting an application + video to InTurn just for fun. Is anyone else thinking about going out for the second season of CBS's online program InTurn (which airs on the online channel Innertube- think YouTube but better quality). I know I've read on the ATWT forums that a couple of people have thought about going out for the program- but I wanted to find out who else was thinking about pursuing the chance to appear on this program.

I mean, the chance to possibly win a 13 week contract + meet all your ATWT favorite actors and actresses is pretty cool. I'm still debating whether or not I will enter the contest. BUT! If I do, I'll post the video on here for everyone to check out (the application requires you to submit a video with your application acting out a scripted sequence included with the script).
